Long Standing Dispute Over Ex Major Robert S. Cuthbert (of blessed memory) and Mr. Piers Deklay Properties Settled.

A British Court has finally ruled in a property dispute between the families of the late Mr.Robert S. Cuthbert and Mr. Piers Deklay, declaring that both the Plaintiff and Defendant are beneficiaries of all properties and businesses ventures belonging to the two businessmen.

According to the court, both the Plaintiff Mr. Piers Deklay and Defendant Lori Robert Smith, who is Robert S. Cuthbert’s daughter and sole next of kin, are entitled to 50% shares on all properties and businesses ventures as entered in the contractual agreement between the Defendants father, Mr Robert S. Cuthbert (of blessed memory) and Mr. Piers Deklay, The Plaintiffs. The British Court on June 28th, 2024 gave its final ruling and arrived at the decision after a thorough review of the substantial evidence presented by both parties.

It indicated that the two estate and 4 mixed use disputed properties will conform to the contractual agreement granting the Plaintiff ownership to property No. GJN774B6 ,KL043883,GN4554334 while Property No. NP329KD6 ,EZ6768738,BY8847546 goes to the Defendant. Meanwhile, The Court also stated that Counsels for both Plaintiff and Defendant have agreed on an out of court settlement in the other two new lawsuits filed by Plaintiff. Snippet of information gathered regarding the case is that ex Major Mr. Robert S. Cuthbert (of blessed memory) and Mr. Piers Deklay were best friends and lifelong business partners. Their partnership transcended friendship to family due to the strong relationship both of them shared. According to information obtained , They were so close that the families got much united as one whereas members of both families enjoyed holidays, birthdays, and other celebrations together. The two gentlemen were partners in two major joint business ventures of which included a Timber processing plant and various mixed-use properties.

However, after the sudden demise of Major Robert S. Cuthbert (Defendant’s Father), Helena Robert (Late Major Roberts wife) started proceedings for Lori to claim ownership as the sole heir and executor of her fathers estate four years after his untimely death when she attained legal age. Piers Daklay who was the business partner to Major Robert smith claimed to be the sole owner of the said properties and business ventures. The presiding judge asked both parties to present evidences to prove their claim. Helena Robert knowing her husband to be a successful real estate magnate before his demise, Hired the service of a reputable legal counsel and vowed to see her daughter as the owner of the estate and businesses So as Mr. Piers Deklay also vowing to claim the property an bussineses. The case went on for two years and was halted when plaintiff’s lawyer Stewart John was involved in a fatal accident .This sudden development affected the livelihoods of both families as the Court at a point placed an injunction on the properties, putting a halt to the passive income they where both earning. The latest ruling has however put to rest the long-standing tussle over the properties willed to members of the .Robert S. Cuthbert family and Mr. Piers Deklay.
